WinCC OA V3.16, PROFIsafe driver, supports the safety-oriented PROFIsafe protocol. Requires a compatible PROFINET network card (e.g. CP1616). This license includes also the operation of PROFINET. As an open system with a focus on flexibility, WinCC OA provides more than 30 integrated drivers for a wide variety of technologies, standards, and manufacturers. At least one license is needed per server and desired type of connection. Additional licenses can result from the number of devices used, depending on the type of driver.
